Terms of Service
These terms apply to the website at nassarlabs.com and to the automation tools that Nassarlabs ("Nassarlabs", "we", "us") builds and operates, including tools that connect to Google services (the "Tools"). By using the website, or by connecting an account to a Tool, you agree to them. If you do so on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for that business.
1. The website
- The website is informational. Its content describes our work and may change or be removed at any time without notice.
- You may browse and link to the website. You may not use it in a way that interferes with its operation, attempts to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or breaks the law.
- The website may link to third-party sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
2. The Tools
2.1 Who can use them
The Tools are internal automations that Nassarlabs operates for its own work and for businesses it works with under separate arrangements. They are not offered to the general public. We decide who may connect an account, and we may decline, suspend or withdraw access at any time, in particular for security reasons or if these terms are broken.
2.2 Your responsibilities
- Only connect accounts that you own or are authorised to connect, and only grant the permissions a Tool asks for on Google's consent screen if you are entitled to do so for that mailbox.
- Keep the credentials of connected accounts and of the channels that receive a Tool's output secure.
- Use the Tools lawfully. Do not use them to infringe anyone's rights, to send unsolicited messages, or to process data you have no right to process.
- Do not interfere with, probe, reverse engineer or overload the Tools or the systems they run on.
- Follow the terms of the third-party services involved, including Google's Terms of Service for the connected Google account.
2.3 What the Tools produce
The Tools read emails, attachments and business records and turn them into summaries, spreadsheets and alerts. That output is generated automatically, in part by an AI model, and can contain mistakes, omissions or misread figures. It is an aid for the business's own staff, not a substitute for the original documents or for professional accounting, tax or legal advice. The business using a Tool remains responsible for checking the output against the source documents before acting on it, for example before paying an invoice or recording it in its books.
2.4 Availability and changes
The Tools are provided as they are and as they are available. We may change, pause or discontinue a Tool, or change its schedule and output, at any time. We do not promise any level of uptime or that a run will happen at a particular time, unless a written agreement between Nassarlabs and the business says otherwise.
2.5 Third-party services
The Tools depend on services we do not control, including Google APIs, AI models operated by Anthropic, messaging providers and hosting providers. Those services have their own terms, and their outages, limits or changes can stop a Tool from working. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Privacy
How we handle personal data, including Google user data, is described in our Privacy Policy. It forms part of these terms.
4. Ownership
- The website, the Tools, and their code, design and documentation belong to Nassarlabs or its licensors. These terms give you no rights in them beyond using them as described here.
- Your data stays yours. The emails, attachments and business records a Tool processes, and the summaries and spreadsheets produced from them, remain the property of the business that connected the account. You give us only the permission we need to process that data in order to provide the Tools, as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. No warranty
To the extent the law allows, the website and the Tools are provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. In particular, we do not warrant that the Tools' output is complete or correct.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Nassarlabs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, for lost profits or data, or for decisions taken or payments made on the basis of the Tools' output. Our total liability for any claim connected with the website or a Tool is limited to the amount, if any, that the claimant paid Nassarlabs for that Tool in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Ending the relationship
- You can stop using a Tool at any time by revoking its access from your Google Account's third-party access page and telling us. The Privacy Policy explains what happens to stored data.
- We can suspend or end access as described in section 2.1. Sections 2.3, 4, 5, 6 and 9 continue to apply afterwards.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always at this address, with its effective date at the top. Continuing to use the website or a Tool after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
Where a written agreement exists between Nassarlabs and a business for the use of a Tool, that agreement's choice of law and forum applies. Otherwise these terms are governed by the laws applicable at Nassarlabs' principal place of business, and disputes are brought before the courts there.
